Calliope \Cal*li"o*pe\ , n. [the beautiful-voiced] Calliope Sound Productions was formed in 2000. We are a group of actors, directors and writers. who present summer theatre in the Mississauga, Ontario area.
Calliope Sound Productions was formed in 2000 by Tony Junor. Calliope is made up of a group of actors, directors, d writers. who present summer theatre in the Mississauga, Ontario area. The company has produced over 30 shows over 25 seasons. We have presented comedies, dramas, music, and radio dramas. Years later, The Calliope Muses was formed. This group is composed of women who produce, direct, and act in women-centric plays. Between Calliope Sound Productions and The Calliope Muses, they have maintained :
Our Mission Statement: "To dream the impossible dream and to make it a reality! All the while bringing amusement and wonder to our audiences... and to give back to the community whenever possible!"

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
