No more Waiting: play opens tomorrow

Wait no more. The story of five women and how they cope in the face of World War II will be told in Waiting for the Parade tonight, tomorrow and Saturday at the University of Toronto Mississauga theatre. The story of five women and how they cope in the face of World War II will be told on stage starting tomorrow at Erindale Studio Theatre.
Waiting for the Parade, presented by Calliope Sound Productions, continues Friday and Saturday at the University of Toronto Mississauga theatre. Show times are 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday.
Written by John Murrell, the play is a character-driven drama that shows how Catherine, Eve, Janet, Margaret and Marta, who are drawn together by the war, help each other survive while their men are off fighting. Through snapshot vignettes, each shares their stories, hopes and dreams.
